I'm very happy that I choose 405V. It has alot of power and runs some of my PS2 games.

Bought the NEW ANBERNIC RG35XX Plus as a gift for my son - he never had a gameboy as a kid and has always wanted one. Well, this is an absolute hit and I am now the world's best mum <3 - has everything he ever wanted on it - couldn't ask for more <3

It is exactly what you would expect. I've used a controller and connected it to a screen and works amazing. It also has all the old school classics (90s baby here)! Currently on ff7 and pokemon yellow, and it's legit well built and will be recommending it to my buddies aswell.

I love it since I got it I haven’t put it done since,an it came faster than I expected.

Anbernic has done a great job the last few months upgrading their 35XX line of devices. Being one of their most popular handhelds in 2023 they had lacked some basic things such as WiFi and Bluetooth. The one thing that puzzled me however is making the device as powerful as the 35XX Plus without the ability to take advantage of the new processor due to the lack of hardware on the device. The 35XX-H changed all that. Unlike the Plus model we now have the ability to take advantage of emulation on higher end systems due to most of those systems requiring joysticks for many or all of their titles. On top of that some of the advantages of the aforementioned also carried over like RetroAchivments and wireless controller support due to those additions of Bluetooth and WiFi.

The stock firmware could use some work but we have been seeing an effort by Anbernic in this round in order to solve this problem. I can't remember the last time we received so many firmware updates directly from Anbernic and in this case so close to the launch of the devices.

Really enjoying using this device to play my childhood classics

This is my first Anbernic purchase and I will say this is a very nice device. It's comfortable in your hands, all the buttons feel good, no false diagonals from the D pad. I am still understanding the software though....Not sure why it has 2 different ways to play the roms but I will say everything runs smoother on retroarch. Interested in seeing what custom firmware can do for this as well but its good enough where I dont need it.

Bought this for my husband for a late Christmas gift. Shipping wasn’t too bad, and he has not stopped using it since! It’s got a massive database for all kinds of games you can find, and the nostalgia is priceless for most of them. He’s playing Mario on it beside me as I’m typing this. It will travel well, it’s versatile, it’s fun, it’s satisfying….. I literally don’t know how there are any reviews that aren’t five stars. It’s perfect. 100% would recommend to anyone who loves video games, especially if they have a soft spot for hand helds.

It is a good choice if you are looking for a retro console that is good looking, simple, portable and powerful enough to play n64, ds and even psp or ps1 classic games

It can play almost any portable game there is as well as most of the programs you use in your every day life on your PC

This thing is awesome for the price. Been enjoying diving into all the old games I used to play. I definitely recommend if you love old school games on the go

Along with being able to run all my favorite retro consoles. You can even load apps for systems not originally marketed, like the Vita. This thing can do it all! The only is, I wish there was a manual or tutorial on how to use this thing.

Awesome device to re-live and play the old games we all love! At break time at work I usaly take it out and play for some time.
I even bought a second one for an family member who could not stop staring at it.

The only problem I had is the bad SD card.
Had to replace it and flash the operating system on it. I recommend doing it straight away when you order it, it will improve stability and prevent the loss of save games :)

I love my RG35XX. It has an amazingly high quality screen. It comes pre-loaded with a lot of retro games. It feels really well-built and I love the electric purple. I've been using it almost non-stop since it arrived. The shipping was relatively quick, considering it was shipping from China to US. I am very satisfied!
